CommunNovate's managing director, Sharon Don is an entrepreneurial internet pioneer with a passion for usability, user centred design & social media. The founder of CommunNovate, she provides strategic online innovation, thought leadershop & commercialisation consultancy to global Governments & Brands, and is currently Chair Web Governance, Manager eCommerce & Customer Experience for Optus.
A futurist and creative lateral thinker, Sharon founded Videcom social web video-chat in 1996, winning World IT Congress Multimedia Innovation award 2002. Over the past 10 years her appointments include iBurst 4G Marketing Director; Optus Manager 3G Multimedia Product Development.; Manager Via Vodafone Global Innovation Program, & online innovation judge for numerous federal grants programs and awards.
Her curiosity and thirst for knowedge have resulted in studies not limited to Naturopathy, sustainable civilisations/communities, construction, physics, philosophy, astronomy, horticulture, visual arts, history, geology, climate, value economics, alternative healing modalities, wellness, wilderness & renewable energy. She is currently investigating the potential for sustainable alternative communities, as a blueprint for future living.
